Tom is a local, having grown up in the village of Lower Boddington. Tom's career in the hospitality trade started when leaving school where his catering skills were noticed by a highly regarded chef. He received a place at the prestigious Catering College of Culinary Arts(The Académie Culinaire) in which he trained in Classic English and French. Tom then went on to work for the highly regarded Naval and Military Club in Mayfair(The In and Out). Deciding to get out of the smoke and back to the countryside, he moved onto other head chef roles and into outside catering alongside running other business ventures.

Shelley is also a local and married Tom in 2006. Her career started in the world of horses but, once realising no money was to be made, she moved quickly on into the world of fashion design in which she worked alongside many of the well-known high street brands with lots of travel to the Far East. Wanting to set down some roots, she decided to move on into the world of recruitment and business development in which she gained years of experience at management level until the birth of their son Alfie.
